The Soul Kite is a sculpture made from paper, created from pulp from a  blood-stained and gunpowder-soaked uniform artist Kevin P. Wallace wore in combat in Afghanistan, the very uniform he was wearing when he was hit with an RPG. The kite is molded with several inclusion, including the Combat Action Badge from the uniform, buttons from the uniform, a laundry tag from inside the uniform, and various pieces of raw (unpulped) fabric.
